SLEEP LESS, RISK STROKE


Getting under six hours of sleep a night increases the risk of stroke. A study of middle-aged and older adults of normal weight with no history of stroke or its symptoms found a strong link between hours of sleep and appearance of stroke symptoms. Researchers from 
Birmingham's Alabama University said the study may prove to be a strong argument for increasing awareness of sleep's impact as a risk factor for stroke.
